{Ottolenghi} Salad of grilled zucchini and tomatoes with yoghurt, walnuts, herbs and maple syrup
E in a relaxed Saturday afternoon. Rumdümpeln on the sofa in the study, while the man hacks concentrated texts in his calculator. Glimpse your gaze, sip mineral water from a monstrously large glass (I'm almost used to it), look holes in the air, try to read the text on the monitor from three feet away (a little man-hated exercise, if not soon a pair of spectacles is due on Frolleinseite), think about the upcoming week, yawn, look at the spine on the shelf ... HA! I can not believe it. Da So it is! Jerusalem - The cookbook of Ottolenghi *. Months ago (years?!?) I bought the book and leafed through it for a brief moment. Then it was lost. And there it is now - in the top shelf right in the middle. It was obviously cleaned up . No one could have guessed.
I jump up, force the man to interrupt his work and pick the book from the bookcase summit that's unattainable for me. Then I pull myself back on the sofa, leafing happily and slobbering little hungry sounds until the man complains. I leave him and the monitor alone. I have a mission. I have to go down to the supermarket. Buy salad ingredients.
30 minutes later, I'm standing on the balcony and heating our new grill. The man and I have bought together last week by Car2Go in the hardware store of our trust. The small pink kettle grill had to leave us in the spring for reasons of rusty age, unfortunately. And now it should be a decent, adult barbecue. But after we had looked at two dozen thick Webers, who had laid directly on 2/3 of our balcony area, we came home with Mrs. Lotus *. Mrs. Lotus is low in smoke, needs very little coal and barbecue lighter, can be used in 5 minutes and makes great grilled zucchini for Ottolenghi's great salad. With yogurt, tomatoes and walnuts. Hach - this is how big summer salad loafööö!
